What to send so the quote is accurate
A photo of the thing itself, and a second one from further back showing where it sits in the room. Those two pictures answer most of the questions we would otherwise have to visit to ask, and they are the single biggest thing that speeds up a firm price.
Beyond that: roughly when you would like it done, whether there is access parking, and anything unusual about the property. If it is a condo, tell us the building rules and whether the service elevator needs booking, because that affects the scheduling more than the work does.
What happens after you get in touch
On the phone you get a ballpark straight away. From photos you get a firmer number, often without anybody visiting. For larger work we arrange a free walk-through and then send a fixed written quote.
Nothing starts until you have that written number and have said yes to it. There is no deposit taken to hold a quote and no obligation attached to getting one. If you decide against it, that is a perfectly normal outcome and you will not be chased.
If it is urgent, phone
The form is checked often but it is not instant, and it is the wrong tool for water coming through a ceiling. For anything urgent, call. Somebody answers at any hour, and you will get a decision rather than an acknowledgement.
If we cannot get to you as quickly as your situation needs, we will say so on the call rather than booking you in and hoping. You are better off knowing immediately so you can try someone else.

How quickly will you reply to the form?
Usually within a few hours during the day. If it is urgent, phone instead. The line is answered 24 hours and calling is far faster than typing.
What if I am just outside your area?
Call and ask. We cover York Region, Toronto, Durham, Peel and Hamilton, and there is a margin around that where we can often still help. If we genuinely cannot serve you properly we will tell you straight rather than stringing you along.
